I am a work in progress.
I am an Olympic hopeful in the sport of fencing, currently living and training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
Some of my career highlights include 7-time US World Team member, 3-time NCAA champion, Pan American Games champion, and 3-time US National champion. In 2005 I was the number one ranked fencer in the world, and I am currently the number one ranked men's epee fencer in the country.
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where my parents are both professors at the University of Colorado. In 2010 I graduated The Ohio State University with a BA in marketing. I am currently earning my MBA at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.
I am an active member of the USOC community and work as an athlete representative, event coordinator, and lead development and fundraising efforts for the Olympic Training Center.
I am interested in environmental conservation, camping, biking (my sister Eszter Horanyi is a world renowned mountain biker and currently holds several national records), photography, writing, and coffee. I hope to own my own coffee shop in Colorado.
