Its easy to wake up in the morning when this is the view from your room. I can't wait to get done with practice/work/school so I can enjoy the beautiful weather outside. 

A Weekend With The Monsters

Its nice to get away sometimes, and Winter Park is the best place to go. I am fortunate enough to live (somewhat) near my parents and dogs. There are few things I enjoy more then a nice, relaxing weekend away. It is weekends like these that remind me how truly fortunate I am. 

Vancouver Gand Prix

I am a little disappointed that I lost 14-13 on time in Vancouver to Marco Fichera from Italy finishing 31st in the tournament. Marco went on to win bronze at the tournament. However, I am happy with the bought before where I defeated Bas Verwijlen from the Netherlands 15-14 in overtime. Bas was ranked 14th in the world at the time. Colorado Springs Incline

The Colorado Springs Incline is always a fun challenging activity. The Incline gains over 2,000 feet of elevation in less than one mile. It is a great way to spend the afternoon with some friends.

Legnano World Cup

Came in 31st in the Legnano World Cup. I had a close match with Piotr Kruczek from Poland to get into the round of 32 and was defeated by Daniel Jerent of France in the round of 32. Doha Grand Prix 2014

Came in 16th at the first Grand Prix of the year, beating the the 2013 World Champion to get into the round of 32.. Here is a link to a article from the United States Fencing Association about the competition.
